Make the Easiest Butter Ever – Almost Hands Free!

Making butter at home is easier than you think! With a few simple steps, you can make delicious butter in no time. All you need is heavy cream, a jar, and a few minutes of your time.

To start, pour the heavy cream into the jar. Make sure to leave a few inches of space at the top of the jar. Put the lid on the jar and start shaking! You will need to shake for about 10 minutes, but it’s worth it for the delicious butter you’ll get in the end.

As you shake, you will notice that the cream will start to thicken and eventually separate into butter and buttermilk. Once the butter has separated from the buttermilk, you can stop shaking.

Now it’s time to strain the butter. Take a fine mesh strainer and place it over a bowl. Pour the contents of the jar into the strainer and let the buttermilk drain out. Once all of the buttermilk has been strained out, you can transfer the butter to a bowl or plate.

At this point, you can add salt or herbs to your butter if desired. Then, use a spoon or spatula to shape the butter into a log or patty. Once shaped, wrap the butter in parchment paper and store it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Making butter at home is easy and rewarding! With just a few simple steps and ingredients, you can have delicious homemade butter in no time. So why not give it a try?
