One of the most common places to give birth outside of a hospital is in the backseat of a car. This happened to a couple in the U.K. who were on their way to the hospital when the baby decided it was time to come out. The father pulled over and the mother delivered the baby with the help of a midwife who had been following them in another car.

Another unusual place to give birth is in an airplane. This happened to a woman who was flying from Saudi Arabia to the U.S. with her husband and three children. She went into labor during the flight and ended up delivering her baby at 30,000 feet with the help of the flight crew.

A more extreme example is a woman who gave birth in the middle of a forest in India. The woman was walking home from the hospital when she went into labor and was forced to deliver her baby in the middle of the jungle. Fortunately, she was able to get help from some local villagers who helped her deliver her baby safely.

These stories are proof that sometimes babies come when they want to, no matter where you are. While it’s always best to give birth in a hospital, it’s comforting to know that even in extreme circumstances, babies can be born safely and without complications.
